1. INDEPENDENT CONTEST DISCLAIMER
IMPORTANT NOTICE: This contest is independent and not affiliated with any Powerlifting Federation.
The Fitness Talent Contest is organized independently by the Fitness Talent Events Foundation to discover grassroots strength and fitness talent. It is conducted according to the foundation's independent judging rules and is not governed by any external powerlifting federation.
2. ELIGIBILITY & AGE REQUIREMENTS
- Athletes must be at least 16 years of age at the time of registration.
- Participants under 18 years of age must possess written parental or legal guardian consent.
- Athletes may enter as independent competitors or represent their gym for the Gym Championship Awards.
- All participants must provide accurate contact and identity information during registration.
3. PHYSICAL HEALTH & MEDICAL WAIVER
Weightlifting, powerlifting (Squat, Bench Press, Deadlift), and high-intensity calisthenics (Push-ups, Pull-ups, Free Squats, Plank) are physically demanding sports involving inherent risks of strain, injury, or physical exhaustion.
- By registering, the participant certifies that they are in good health, possess adequate physical conditioning, and have no known medical condition that would make participation hazardous.
- Participants compete voluntarily at their own risk. Fitness Talent Events Foundation, its directors, organizers, venue partners, and sponsors are not liable for any injuries, medical emergencies, or personal property loss sustained before, during, or after the event.
4. REGISTRATION FEES & CANCELLATION
Any entry fees referenced (such as ₹250 per SBD event or ₹120 per single event) cover administration, judging evaluation, venue access, and guaranteed T-shirt allocation. Once submitted and processed, fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, except in the event of tournament cancellation by the organizers.
5. JUDGING & SPORTSMANSHIP CODE
All lifts and repetitions must adhere to official depth, pause, and lockout standards. Decisions rendered by the appointed judging panel and foundation referees are final and binding. Any unsportsmanlike conduct, harassment, or verbal abuse towards judges, fellow athletes, or volunteers will result in immediate disqualification without refund.
6. PRIZE DISBURSEMENT RULES
- Winner International Trip (Worth ₹1 Lakh): Awarded to the certified overall champion. The package covers 3-day travel, flight tickets, sightseeing, food, and hotel accommodation. Cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another party. Valid passport required.
- ₹25,000 Cash Prize: Awarded to overall winners as determined by the official scoring formula.
- ₹5,000 Best Lifters & Single Events: Disbursed across designated single category and lifter standouts.
- Gym Championship Awards (1st ₹5k, 2nd ₹4k, 3rd ₹3k + Trophies): Disbursed to official gym team representatives based on points tally and team participation.
- Official T-Shirt: Every registered athlete receives an official branded event T-Shirt upon physical check-in.
7. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with the contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana.
